Mulled Wine

This recipe comes from Walter Barth from Windhoek and he is an expert on matters such as Mulled Wine and Windhoek Lager!

Ingredients:
65 g Sugar
Peel of 1/2 Lemon
4 or 5 Cloves
125 ml Water

Method:
Bring mixture to a boil and allow to cool for 30 minutes
Heat 1L of red wine – do not let it boil
Strain the mixture and add to red wine

Serve hot
